Following mentioned are the foreign countries with whom we participated in the session 2014-15
Collaborative
Project is a platform to reach peers around the world through internet and
develop the higher cognitive skills of the students. We can say the world is
around us and We around the world.
Multiple
projects are initiated throughout the session so a student may work
simultaneously on more than one project. Every project has its own specified
time duration, which is either defined by the organization that initiates
collaborative projects or mutually decided by the schools involved and the
teachers concerned in such projects. Students are guided by the teacher
throughout the project.
Objectives
- It promotes interdisciplinary study within & beyond the curriculum, thus preparing the students to become a potential human resource with the apt skill sets of the global village.
- It provides students, who will never meet each other face-to-face with an opportunity to work together and learn from each other and helps them to explore community, cultural and scientific issues.
- It increases their understanding and appreciation of different cultures.
- It provides opportunities for gathering and analyzing data.
- It initiates recursive interaction of knowledge and mutual learning.
- It supports the integration of technology into the curriculum.
- It develops 21st century managerial skills of coordination, self-direction and time management.
- It also develops a global perspective and an international outlook
