Cinquains

: Natural wonder around us

: Students take photos of different natural wonders in the local area (unusual trees, plants, rivers, springs, landscape, mountains etc.). Students write cinquains (Didactic cinquains - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinquain) for each picture.

Benefits :   

It provides students :

  • An opportunity to learn, compare & contrast about the Natural Wonders of  India with other countries through cinquains.
  • A platform to enhance their writing skills in the form of cinquains and improves their vocabulary.
Enthusiasm :
 a) Teacher’s Observation:
  • Students are showing interest in the preparation of  cinquains on the Natural Wonders which they are identifying at their own.
  • They are also enjoying in giving their expert suggestions to make it more interactive
  • They are also eager to know the wonders of other countries.

 b) Student’s Feedback: It will be reported at the end of session in student’s report through feedback of each student on the project after the completion of Project report and Presentation.

 1. Students take photos of different natural wonders in the local area (unusual trees, plants, rivers, springs, landscape, mountains etc.)

2.  Students write cinquains (Didactic cinquains - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinquain) for each picture.


3.Then we send to each other only photos of natural wonders and sts write cinquains to the photos they get.


4. After that we exchange our poems and read and discuss them

5.We can publish a small book with our collaborative photos and poems.
