Collaborative Projects- A wonderful platform to meet their peers around the world with an opportunity to work together and learn from each other.

RDPS has always been proactive in adopting innovative educational approaches to promote experiential education or active learning. In this endeavour, the school initiated “Collaborative Projects” in 2003 to engage Rukminians in meaningful projects with their peers around the world and to foster lifelong global relationships with them. The students work on  Social, Cultural and Scientific issues under these projects.
The objectives of these projects are:
ü  To create multi-cultural understanding; foster teamwork, civic responsibility and collaboration; and to improve analytical & communication skills.
ü  To provide opportunities for gathering and analyzing data.
ü  To initiate recursive interaction of knowledge and mutual learning.

It has manifold advantages:
ü  It provides students who will never meet each other face-to-face with an opportunity to work together and learn from each other.
ü  It helps them to explore community, cultural and scientific issues that prepare them for the workforce and help them to become responsible and literate global citizens.
ü  It increases their understanding and appreciation of different cultures.
ü  It promotes interdisciplinary study across the curriculum.
ü  It provides opportunities for gathering and analyzing data.
ü  It enhances comparing and contrasting skills.
ü  It helps them to develop inquiry skills.
ü  It initiates recursive interaction of knowledge and mutual learning.
ü  It supports the integration of technology into the curriculum.
